From Fredricksburg, we took a short jaunt through the Texas Hill country to the “The Cowboy Capitol of the World” in Bandera Texas. We only spent two nights in Bandera – spending one full day – 12 hours at what we considered the high point of the entire trip: The Rancho Cortez Dude Ranch.
This wonderful ranch in the Texas Hill Country is set up for guests from all countries to experience a bit of Texas Ranch life – and they did it very well. Led by the very personable owner, there was horseback riding, roping, introduction to horses, cattle encounters and some wonderful meals, all lin the picturesque Texas hill country.
We can’t recommend this place enough.
