Days 69 – 72 6762 Miles – Tiffin Owners Rally Tucson Arizona

We left Red Bay headed for the Tiffin Owners Rally in Tucson. We left Alabama, went thru Mississippi, Arkansas and entered Texas. We spent our first night in a Cracker Barrel in Greensville Texas, the second night in a Rest Stop (admittedly a nice one) near Monahans Texas, and the third night – finally out of Texas – in a KOA in Lordsburg New Mexico. The last night in the KOA with a bunch of other Tiffins headed for Tucson put us good position to get to the Pima County Fairgrounds early in the day.

After a mandatory stop at The Thing along I-10 so Jerry could pick up some more of his favorite Aliens Riding Dinosaur T-shirts we pulled into the Fairgrounds and got registered for the rally.

The next day was an off day so we took the opportunity to visit Tumacacori National Historic Park south of Tucson.

Monday the rally started in earnest and went through Friday. We stayed very busy learning about our coach in detail we didn’t believe possible. We took lots of notes and kept the nose to the grindstone.
