From Wells, we got on the Interstate quickly and headed in the general direction of Bangor. Once again, an uneventful drive. The only thing that was noteworthy was that we found a place along the way that would service the RV. We made an appointment for the following Friday and headed onto Ellsworth. We pulled into the Narrows Too Thousand Trails.
This park was alongside a bay and was quite nice. But we were there for two reasons: 1.) To visit with our step mother-in-law Holly, who has a home on Cranberry Island off the coast of Maine and 2.) to join our Caravan.
We spent two wonderful days with Holly on Cranberry Island. This island, off the coast, is not bridged and the approved method of getting there is on the Cranberry Island Mail Boat.
On Friday, we got the RV serviced and joined our Caravan to Canada.
