From the Minneapolis/St. Paul area we took off for Hannibal Missouri. The caravan did an overnight stop in Prairie Du Chen Wisconsin. Along the way we stopped at the National Bald Eagle Center where the pulled out a live Bald Eagle for us to gape at.
We then checked into the Camelot Campground in Rock Island.
In Rock Island, across the Mississippi from Davenport Iowa we went to a very good dinner theater show – we didn’t know they still did Dinner Theater anywhere. The food was so-so, the show was good, but the theater was magnificent. The next day we went to the Hebert Hoover Presidential Library and the Iowa80 Truck Stop
The following day, we went to the Amana Colonies, home of your refrigerator – sadly no pictures, and then settled in for our next days run.
