We have departed Salinas California on our 2024 fall road trip.
Our immediate plans are to travel to Corning CA, to a nice casino we’ve camped at several times before. This is mostly for shake out and figure out what we forgot.
From there the plan is to go to Glacier National Park, meet my brother and stay a few days. We will be staying on the east side of Glacier this time and taking a trip up the Going-to-the-Sun Highway.
From Glacier, to Cody Wyoming and Yellowstone Park, then to Theodore Roosevelt National Park to visit the wandering herds of Buffalo (aka Fuzzy Cows).
From there onto Bemidji Minnesota where we will join a Fantasy Caravan for a 30 day run along the mighty Mississippi River.
Once the caravan breaks up in New Orleans, we will head west to Tucson Arizona for the Tiffin Rally. We don’t know what to expect there, but it should be fun and interesting.
Lastly from Tucson, we will head up to Moab Utah for the Moab Music Festival with my brothers and enjoy the wonderful music they play there.
Well… at least that is the plan. We will see what actually happens. But whatever happens, we’ve got the dog, the rig is in good shape, the car is fine and we’re healthy.
